Stumped, Any advice?

I'm going to get a new lens soon, but I'm not sure which to buy... both lenses will be featured here and I would appreciated any advice.

The Nikkor 18-200 VR F3.5 - 5.6

Well its a very good all-rounder lens. 11.1x Zoom (that's far!) that starts from 18mm wide end.

Alternatively, I can choose the Nikkor 70 - 300 VR F4.5 - 5.6

I love superzooms, and the 300mm (450mm equiv on my D80) is super tempting for me. But I dont like the hassle of changing lenses, and if I do get this lens i need a change of bags. (currently using a bag that only fits one camera+lens)

Then again, I've been eyeing the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 for some time now, and its going for approx. 400USD. so if i get the 70-300 I would have an f2.8 lens later that fits nicely into the zoom range with no angle left out. (I hate missing angles e.g 17-55, 70-300, 55-70 missing) I would go for 70-200 f2.8 VR but current budget doesnt allow for such indulgences. lol.

Advices anyone?
